For Marius art is a way of living… it comes very easily. Painting is also a religious calling… a meditation about reality and what defines life. Artists are equipped with an antenna that intercepts the signals of time and reproduce it in their work. The work of the artist cannot be done through power, diligence or intelligence – but through a religious impulse which guides the hand… or not guide it.

Painting requires experience, dedication, boredom, excitement, dissatisfaction and an eye for possibilities. You have to acknowledge the past and at the same time re-tune the present without the fear of originality or influence. You have to enjoy the process, playing with its variety and assembling style.

Marius  agrees with Hundertwasser (Austrian Artist) in saying: “Only creativity brings us close to heaven: Only those who think and live creatively will survive this life and the hereafter. The colourful, the abundant, the manifold, is always better than mediocrity and uniformity”
